Our Self-Aligning Turning Rolls are designed to automatically adjust the wheel centerline when the vessel is positioned, eliminating the need for manual coupling changes and pin adjustments. These 'SA-Rolls' ensure constant centerline capabilities for quick, hassle-free set-ups and alignments. With the ability to handle work pieces ranging from diameters as small as 12 inches to as large as 16 feet, they adapt effortlessly without drive shaft modifications. Available in capacities from 15 to 180 tons, these rolls are powered by AC variable frequency drives and motors, providing extensive speed variations. Standard with hand-held operator pendants, they also offer optional foot switch controls for enhanced operational flexibility.
Featuring automatically adjustable centerline settings, these rolls simplify alignment for tapered vessels. The increased surface area provided by four wheels per unit offers extra support, making them ideal for thin-walled vessels.
